About Crow & Co.

Crow & Co. is a client-centered, compassionate, home organization, nesting, and interior design company. We support life transitions with kindness; create homes with intention; and inspire joy and meaningful living. Founded by Colette Rose, Certified Professional Coach, we promise gentleness, understanding, and non-judgement within this vulnerable and personal process of home-moving and home-making.

How we got here:

If Cole knows one thing, it’s that you never know how seemingly-random pieces of life will later fit into place!

Spring: Colette Rose completes her b.A. in Studio Arts through the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Summer: Cole’s eye for art & design earns her a job as a merchandiser (aka retail organizer) for the Fortune 1000 Company, Urban Outfitters.

Driven by a deep desire to help others, Cole begins work as a life coach, led and supervised by extraordinary mentors.

After completing her Professional Coaching Certification, Cole combines all her loves: coaching, organizing, and design.

The pieces

The Background

With a formal education in art, creative writing, and literature, Colette has always been fascinated with the way the external world is a reflection of the human psyche. After years of seeing the dramas of the heart play out in corporate America, she re-trained as a Certified Professional Coach to meet her soul’s purpose of helping people achieve peace and grounding amidst the chaos of life.
As a general life coach, Cole worked with hundreds of clients with unique goals. This allowed her to understand the internal and external blocks people face in achieving their dreams. Whether a person wants to craft a clean-enough home or commit to a meditation practice, things get in the way. The more Cole listened, the more she learned that obstacles are often rooted in the coping mechanisms we use to survive trauma, illness, and grief.

The Journey

For years, Cole’s own main survival mechanism (besides therapy!) was the intense and obsessive collection of things. Her physical attachment to these items helped her feel real in a way that challenging life circumstances had not. But a once-helpful habit of collecting can, over time, create a cluttered space full of memories too heavy to bear. For Cole, she had a breakthrough moment in 2015, when she started the long process of unpacking (literally) the belongings she had collected in her quest to feel inner belonging. As her physical surroundings became clearer, so did her emotional awareness and inner peace.

The Magic

Once Colette finished her professional coaching certification, her own journey inspired her to re-focus her coaching business on the interaction between external spaces and inner well-being. With Crow & Co., she wants to help you create beautiful, easy, uplifting homes by helping you understand what physical and emotional burdens to release, what treasures to keep, and how best to design your space so that you can feel truly free.

How do the pieces of your life fit together?

Colette’s personal and professional background informs our process, which is different from other professional organizers and interior designers. We are heart-centered and client-focused, grounded in the fundamental skills of life coaching. Before we start, we listen to what you really need. As beautiful as a pantry full of plastic storage containers can be, we are more interested in creating homes as unique as the people living in them.
